StatusCake's free plan is the one that feels most familiar coming from a free hosted tool: 10 uptime monitors at 5-minute intervals plus one page speed test, one domain test, and one SSL test, with native email alerting and 15 or more integrations at no cost. SMS and phone alerts are the gated part, not alerting in general.

Paid, Superior runs EUR 19.99/month (EUR 16.66 billed annually) for 100 monitors at 1 minute with 400 SMS credits a month; Business runs EUR 69.99/month (EUR 58.33 annually) for 300 monitors at 30 seconds. Be precise about capability here, because the usual criticism is the wrong one. Site24x7 does offer domain expiry monitoring, database monitoring, SNMP network and server monitoring, blocklist (RBL) monitoring, and a brand reputation monitor built on Google Web Risk. The catch is not that they are missing; it is that they arrive as separate SKUs and add-ons, so the sticker price and the final invoice can diverge substantially.

Where it is weaker: that suite sprawl is the trade-off, and the interface is built for IT operations. Whether voice-call alerting is included at these tiers is not something we verified for this guide, so confirm it directly if a ringing phone is a requirement.
